I wish I could live here, the beach was beautiful, clear blue, clean, soft sand!! The food was fantastic, the waiters were just awesome and made us enjoy our time there even more. The best part for me was the massage right on the beach, I was in heaven. I’ve been here only once and I dream of the day I get to go back!!

What a good time we had there. Jonathan was our waiter and he made sure everything was perfect for us. The fresh fish was just delicious (maya style if i recall correctly). We would go there another time if we ever visit Mahahual again. Thanks Jonathan!

So in love with this beach side restaurant. Food is delicious & made fresh. Service is impeccable. They make sure that you are always taken care of. I love that they brought a table out to our spot on the beach for us to enjoy our food & drinks. A must stop if you are in the area. As usual, you will get vendors all day trying to sell you stuff, but it comes with the territory.

Prices are definitely good and the quality of the food is amazing and authentic! Try the “Mar y Tierra”… SOOOOO GOOOOOOD! From our side a def: GO THERE!!! Thank you for the friendly and welcoming service!!! Unfortunately the tourism this area really needs is totally down! Stay strong and go on!!!

Fantastic service and beautiful beach in front of the restaurant! Edgar and Pedro took great care of us and made sure we were comfortable. The fish filet was served hot and fresh, and freshly caught that morning. The chicken burrito was also excellent. The portion sizes were generous. Overall, an incredible spot that you should definitely consider visiting if you want great food, outstanding service, and convenient access to the beautiful beach with covered chairs and tables.

We read great things about this place when researching for our cruise and Steve and the staff at Tropicante did not disappoint our expectations! They took the guesswork and anxiety out of coming to a foreign country and allowed us to relax and enjoy this beautiful village of Mahahual! R-r-r-r-a-p-h-a-e-l took great care of us and attended our every need for the whole afternoon we were in port, and their setup on the beach was just PERFECT. We contacted them ahead of time and had 5 chairs along with side tables reserved for us (with no fee or rental charge!) and they gave us perfect directions of how to avoid the issues others ran into at the port with the shuttle people who are paid to take unknowing tourists to the WORST venues on the beach. Like I said, free use of shaded cabana area and chairs, etc and really surprisingly great prices for a tourist place! We got two iced buckets of Corona beer bottles with lime for $15 each (and Raphael came around and iced our buckets as needed) and huge "pile of nachos" for $9 each and we all agreed it was a fantastic shore trip, even when compared to Seven Mile beach on Grand Cayman. We agree that Tropicante is the variable that made ALL the difference. Not to mention the beach here was perfect! THANKS again so much for your help and we plan to return right to this very spot next time we return to Mexico!
